Physiotherapy assessment

Dependent on whether you require Musculoskeletal/Neurological or Vestibular assessment:

  • Individual assessment of you and your symptoms

  • Discuss your diagnosis and the expected time for your recovery

  • Listen to your concerns and agree upon the best method of treatment for your condition

  • Collaboratively work with you to best manage your rehabilitation, prevent further pain and reduce the risk of recurrent injury.

Soft Tissue Therapy

Soft tissue is a large category of body structures, which include muscles, tendons, ligaments, arteries, veins, lymph nodes, nerves, joints, and interstitial (between cells) fluid. Bearing similarity to massage therapy, soft tissue therapy encompasses clinical techniques targeted at the above-mentioned structures.

DRY NEEDLING

Dry needling is often used in addition to other treatment options to effectively treat acute and chronic back pain, chronic neck pain, tension type and migraine headaches, pelvic girdle pain, knee osteoarthritis, lateral elbow pain and shoulder conditions.

Whether that be in-home or set-up, an ergonomic assessment is essential in preventing injuries and in assisting injury rehabilitation when combined with appropriate exercise and postural programs.

Exercise prescription commonly refers to the specific plan of fitness-related activities that are designed for a specified purpose, developed by a fitness or rehabilitation specialist for the client or patient. Due to the specific and unique needs and interests of the client/patient, the goal of exercise prescription should be successful integration of exercise principles and behavioural techniques that motivates the participant to be compliant, thus achieving their goals.
